This next wedding has our hearts. I had to give up my hubby (and awesome assistant) so he could marry our friends while I shot them. It was truly an unforgettable experience!
Despite the crazy circumstances we’re in and the endless amount of things these cuties had to tweak in order to have their perfect wedding day, this micro wedding was just EVERYTHING. I mean, we were all attacked by the bees (again). Totally Si’s fault! A groomsmen got stung in the middle of the ceremony and took one for the team. I got shot in the chest (kidding) but it felt like I did so my ankle decided to hit a log and I went backwards (like the matrix). Fortunately I did not fall..but the girls almost did, ON THE LOG #neverforget
Si and Marcos had their closest family and friends with them on their special day and they couldn’t have chosen a better day for their fall wedding. October is literally the BEST month (I mean, not trying to be partial or anything – it’s also our anni month) but it really is!
They had an intimate ceremony at a private residence in New Milford, Ct and then we hopped over to Lovers Leap for some autumn vibes.
What made this wedding even more special was having so many of our dear friends tied in watching this over zoom. A lot of people that I know would’ve loved to be here obviously couldn’t, stinking covid. Anyway, the pressure is ON since I know everyone wants to see the pics.
Guys, I already told you this but I will REALLY miss shooting your lovely faces, thank you so much for trusting me (and putting up with me) for your proposal, engagement and wedding. Don’t have any babies otherwise I’m coming for ya!
Shot out to: Tifah @juniperglenn_ for the awesome bouquets and boutonnieres, Storeybook Cakes for the cake, Taylor for the log suggestion (totally made the day!) and everyone else for being amazing and doing all you did to make this day so special!
Earthy tones, fall colors and all the feels. Enjoy some of our favorites from Mr + Mrs Mendoza (I KNOW, can’t believe they’re married!)
