Tessa and Kurien celebrated their Indian wedding at the VIP Country Club, a waterfront venue in Westchester, on an end-of-July day with zero humidity and full sun. The couple also slipped away to Glen Island Park for rustic portraits with their bridal party.
We met Tessa and Kurien on their very own wedding day, and the day couldn't have been more perfect: end of July with zero humidity and a sunny sky. We don't usually meet our couples for the first time on the big day, but despite meeting on the spot, it felt as if we'd known each other forever. We were introduced thanks to Tessa's sorority sister, Christine, one of our clients who became family along with her husband, Shawn.
The VIP Country Club in Westchester is a gorgeous, breathtaking waterfront venue, and it made the perfect spot for these two to get married. We also snuck the couple out to Glen Island Park for some cool, rustic shots with the bridal party. As a fun aside, Tessa and I later discovered we both got married in Maggie Sottero gowns, which makes us wedding dress sisters.
Hair and makeup by Cinderella Bridez. Event planning by Pearls Event & Co. The wedding gown was a Maggie Sottero purchased at Blu Rayne Bridal, with flowers by Arcadia Floral Co.
“The VIP Country Club is a gorgeous, breathtaking, waterfront venue, and it made the perfect spot to get married for these two.”

View our photographyThe VIP Country Club is a waterfront wedding venue in New Rochelle, in Westchester County, New York, set along Long Island Sound just north of New York City. Its location on the water makes it a natural fit for ceremony and reception photography that uses the open sound and sky as a backdrop.
A short distance away, Glen Island Park is a Westchester County public park, also in New Rochelle on Long Island Sound. Its grounds and rustic, stone-and-water character make it a popular spot for couples and bridal parties looking for portrait locations beyond the venue itself, exactly as Tessa and Kurien's bridal party did between ceremony and reception.
