Leonor and Sergio's engagement session was photographed by Acromatico across Miami, Florida, moving from a picnic in Margaret Pace Park to the murals of the Wynwood Art District and finishing at Caffeina Lounge in Wynwood, with their wedding still ahead at the time.
Acromatico photographed Leonor and Sergio's engagement session across downtown Miami, Florida. The day started with a picnic the couple had set up in Margaret Pace Park, then moved to the walls of the Wynwood Art District, where the session made use of some couches and paintings found there. A special thanks went to Caffeina Lounge in Wynwood, which let the studio use its facility to finish the day.
The couple chose the locations themselves, and the studio credited Sergio and Leonor's enthusiasm and attention to detail for making it happen. At the time of the session their wedding was still upcoming.
“We started in Margaret Pace Park, where they had a beautiful picnic all set up, then moved to the all-time amazing walls of Wynwood Art District.”
Good to know
The Wynwood Art District sits just north of downtown Miami, Florida, and is known for its dense concentration of large-scale outdoor murals and painted walls, which make it one of the city's most recognizable backdrops for engagement and portrait photography. Its galleries, warehouses, and street art give couples a range of color and texture within a few walkable blocks.
This session paired Wynwood with two other nearby Miami spots. Margaret Pace Park is a waterfront park in the Edgewater neighborhood along Biscayne Bay, offering open green space and water views a short distance from Wynwood. Caffeina Lounge was a venue in the Wynwood area used to wrap the day. Together the three locations show how close Miami's waterfront and arts neighborhoods sit to one another, which is useful to know when planning a multi-stop engagement shoot.
