Estefania and Sergio had their engagement session at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden in Coral Gables, Florida, photographed by Acromatico, a family-run South Florida and New York City studio. The lush garden setting felt, at one point, like a mini trip to the jungle.
It was so nice working with Estefania and Sergio on their romantic engagement session at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden. At a certain point, the surroundings felt so lush that it was like taking a mini trip to the jungle, which Acromatico jokingly counted as crossing "shooting in the jungle" off the bucket list.
Acromatico genuinely loves this place, and the two of them were naturals in front of the camera. As the studio put it, love does not have to be posed, and these two are definitely made for each other.
“Love doesn't have to be posed, they're definitely made for each other.”
Good to know
Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden is an 83-acre botanical garden located in Coral Gables, in unincorporated Miami-Dade County, Florida, just south of the city of Miami. Established in 1938 and named for plant explorer David Fairchild, it is one of the premier tropical botanical gardens in the United States, known for its extensive collections of palms, cycads, flowering trees, and tropical plants. The dense, layered greenery is exactly what can make a session there feel, as Acromatico noted, like a trip to the jungle.
Because Fairchild is a working botanical garden open to the public, couples and photographers should confirm the garden's current photography policies, permit requirements, and hours directly with Fairchild before booking. The garden sits near Matheson Hammock Park and Biscayne Bay in the Coral Gables area, making it an easy anchor for a longer South Florida engagement or wedding day. Soft, even light earlier or later in the day tends to work well beneath the tropical canopy.
