Angela and John are an engaged couple from New York who celebrated at Vizcaya in Miami, Florida, photographed by Acromatico associate photographer Alessandro. They had flown down to Florida to mark their engagement, turning the estate's gardens into a sunny mini adventure for two.
Angela and John flew all the way from New York to celebrate their engagement at Vizcaya in Miami, Florida. The trip was almost a live proposal: John planned to propose during the visit, but Angela figured something was up, so he jumped to plan B and proposed back home instead. She said yes. Acromatico associate photographer Alessandro describes them as a wonderful, dynamic and fun couple to work with.
The day was gorgeous, though Florida did not hand out the sunny weather for free. John suffered through it in a long sleeve shirt and tight jeans but did not mind, while Angela had it easy in her summer dress and shoes — for her it was literally a walk in the park. Their mini adventure through Vizcaya runs throughout the gallery above.

Good to know
Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is an early-20th-century estate on Biscayne Bay in the Coconut Grove area of Miami, Florida. The property pairs an Italian Renaissance–style villa with formal gardens, fountains, stone balustrades and waterfront terraces, and it is designated a National Historic Landmark. For couples, that variety means a single location offers manicured garden paths, sculpted hedges, classical statuary and bay views — the kind of "walk in the park" range that suits a relaxed engagement session.
Because Vizcaya is a public museum, couples planning a session or wedding there should confirm current photography permits, hours and access directly with the venue before booking. The estate sits just south of downtown Miami and Brickell, making it convenient for couples traveling in — as Angela and John did from New York. Acromatico is a family-run photography and brand studio founded in 2004, working across South Florida and New York City with a dark fine-art "Brand Studio" aesthetic, so a Vizcaya session connects naturally to both ends of our coverage area.
