700 people. May 30th, 2020. These were the original wedding plans for Christine and Shawn.
We met this awesome couple in the beginning of covid. Everything was all up in the air and super confusing. We shot their engagement session at the Brooklyn Bridge and thought we’d be shooting their wedding in just a couple of months. That wasn’t the case.
Everyone’s worlds got rocked, their wedding plans were changed, they pushed their dates to still be able to be with their closest family and friends. The venue of their dreams at the location of their dreams ended up having to be right in their back yards, literally. And we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Let’s start off by giving a HUGE shot out to M4U Events. These guys can effortlessly turn a backyard into an Wedding Venue with the snap of a finger (or at least that’s how it seemed). Give them a tent and they’ll turn it into an LIT wedding reception with lights, fog machines, epic DJ and a lively MC. Such a fun reception with a lively crowd. It almost felt like there were hundreds of people with all the good energy in there.
Christine and Shawn met in college. Their friends and family made sure to do a little Bollywood dance explaining their love story while putting their own twist to it. These two are loved by so many! It was just so obvious just by seeing their dearest family and friends there.
Their wedding took place in Shoreham, NY. Champagne bottles were popped, confetti explosions, fog machines, life, color, love, tears, bubbles everywhere, laughs. So many emotions in one day. We hope these photos do their day justice and you get to relive this day through them.
