The early bird gets the worm..aka, the early bird freezes their butts off. To our defense, waking up extra early to see the sunrise at the Brooklyn Bridge was: p r i c e l e s s.
Christine and Shawn are college sweethearts, they met at a party and have been together ever since. They’ve had quite the adventures in these last 5 years, one of them being their epic 700 people wedding this May. They’ve had some awesome photoshoots for their proposal, engagement photos in India and now they wanted something a little different that screamed: New York. After figuring out the location and their style, we all could agree on one thing, Brooklyn Bridge was the place to go. The trick: sunrise. Yes, this place was TOTALLY worth getting up for, freezing our knuckles off, getting heels stuck, shivering nonstop and taking epic engagement photos. The views were just out of this world. It was our first sunrise Brooklyn Bridge engagement session and their first time walking on it!
After shivering and shaking, we went to warm up at the One Girl Cookie shop where we not only had bomb coffee but took some time to snap a few shots and get these two cuties cozied up.
If you’re in Brooklyn, you HAVE to do DUMBO. Of course, thanks to the #coronavirus the carousel was shut down, but despite all the odds and the pandemic, we are alive and #coronafree. So excited to share some of our faves with this cute couple. Can’t wait for their amazing traditional Indian wedding coming up! Enjoy a little bit of their story and this sunrise Brooklyn engagement session:
