With back to back weddings in two days and two states, this weekend was full of love and one for the books. A story about a southern guy and his blonde gal:
Kaleigh and Ramon chose to do their first look in one of my favorite little cities: Beacon, NY. This place has my heart for it’s character and artsy hipster vibes. Of course, out of all days it could’ve rained on, it decided to rain right on their wedding day. This wasn’t going to stop these two from anything, especially from being happy despite it all. After getting together at Madam Brett Park, we made it just in time for their first look and a few quick photos when it decided to pour.
We decided to hit up our favorite guys at the Hudson Valley Brewery to take some shelter, sours and pics. Thankfully they were awesome enough to let us take over for a few minutes while we went to our next location: Cold Spring, NY.
At the Dockside Park, we fell in love with the gorgeous moody views and little hills in the back. These colors were just perfect! Despite it being summer, it sure didn’t feel like it. We figured if summer isn’t coming, we’re bringing it no matter what. Nothing could make it feel more like summer than getting some ice cream at Moo Moo’s Creamery. I will definitely be back for more!
To wrap things up after the ceremony and the on-and-off rain, the Dramatic Hall at the Peekskill Central Market couldn’t have been more of a perfect start to an amazing wedding reception. New York sure knows how to party and have a great time. Kaleigh and Ramon, thank you for letting us be a part of your wedding day. We had so much fun! Take a look at some of our faves from this day:
