For this next sesh, we decided to take it to Cold Spring. Why? The name says it all..because it should already be spring and it’s just plain cold!
With just a few days away from their wedding and lot’s of final things left for the big day, we decided to do an early morning engagement session this am. Streets were empty in this little town, zero humans around, what could possibly be wrong with this picture? The fact that we did NOT plan for it to be THIS cold. After many heat breaks (right in our cars), frozen hands, windy winds, random seagulls and an undecided flying scarf later, Yadi and Jordan made it all look very easy.
I’ve known these two for a few years and I go a little back with Jordan and working together. Too many fun memories! I do have to say, their love story wasn’t one out of the books or the guy gets the girl and they live happily ever type of thing. They’ve had to endure many things: one of them being this pandemic. Despite the distance and having to be away from each other for almost a year, their relationship is: goals. They were so easy to work with and had such a great chemistry not just with each other but in front of the lens too. It made my job way too easy! They basically read my lips as I was talking with a mask on and translated everything that was on my mind! We had a way too good photo connection too. HA!
These cuties will be celebrating their micro wedding in just a few days and I can’t wait to document their very special day! For now, I’ll be taking a break from the screen. It’s been a while since I’ve done a same day blog, so fun!
Enjoy some of my faves from this Cold Spring Engagement session here in freezing cold New York. Stay tuned for their wedding, can’t wait!
