Noris and Ramon are a married couple who returned to the camera for a Miami Beach after-wedding "trash the dress" session, paired with a portrait session in Miami's Design District. Acromatico, a family-run South Florida and New York City studio, photographed them in the water and around the city.
Married for over a year, Noris and Ramon weren't quite ready to put their wedding attire away. So they brought it back out for an after-wedding session in Miami Beach, where Noris was fully up for trashing the dress and getting into the water. Alongside it, they wanted a portrait session in Miami's Design District, trading the shoreline for a stroll through the city.
Acromatico, a family-run photography and brand studio working across South Florida and New York City since 2004, photographed both halves of the day in its dark fine-art "Brand Studio" style.
“Noris was totally up to trash the dress in Miami Beach.”
Good to know
Miami Beach is a barrier island across Biscayne Bay from the city of Miami, known for its Atlantic shoreline and walkable Art Deco streets, which makes it a natural setting for in-the-water "trash the dress" sessions like Noris and Ramon's. The open sand and surf give couples room to move without crowding, and the light off the water carries well into golden hour.
Miami's Design District, on the mainland in the city of Miami, is a neighborhood organized around design, architecture, and art, with clean facades and open plazas that suit a walking portrait session. Pairing the two, a beach session on the island and a portrait session in the district, lets a couple cover both the natural and the urban sides of Miami in a single day.
