Laura and Chin are an engaged couple who traveled from China to Miami Beach, Florida for their engagement session at Lincoln Road and South Pointe, photographed by Acromatico, a family-run South Florida and New York City studio working since 2004. Their wedding is still to come.
Laura and Chin will be getting married soon, and because Acromatico could not travel to China for the wedding, the couple came to the studio instead. They spent their engagement session around Lincoln Road and South Pointe in Miami Beach, Florida. The chemistry between them was easy to see, and it carried through into the photographs.
With so many strong frames from the day, narrowing down the favorites was a happy challenge. The selection here gathers some of the images Acromatico loved most from the session, ahead of the couple's upcoming wedding.
“You could really tell this couple had an awesome chemistry and it definitely shows in their pictures.”
Good to know
This engagement session was photographed across two of Miami Beach's most recognizable areas. Lincoln Road is a pedestrian promenade in the heart of South Beach, lined with shops, cafes and open-air architecture, which makes it a lively, walkable backdrop for couples. A short distance south sits South Pointe, the southern tip of Miami Beach, where South Pointe Park meets the ocean and the entrance to Government Cut. The two locations sit within easy reach of each other, letting a single session move from urban promenade to oceanfront in one afternoon.
Acromatico is a family-run photography and brand studio founded in 2004, working across South Florida and New York City with a dark, fine-art aesthetic. The studio regularly photographs couples who travel to Miami Beach for engagement and pre-wedding sessions, as Laura and Chin did from China.
