Latoya and Anthony are an engaged Miami couple whose engagement session Acromatico photographed at Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park on Key Biscayne, Florida, finishing on a view of the Miami skyline. Latoya works at a local Citibank branch and Anthony is a Miami Heat fan. Their wedding is coming up the following month.
Latoya and Anthony hold a special place for us: Latoya is part of our local Citibank branch, which made this the first time we got to be clients of our very own client. Anthony is a devoted Miami Heat fan, so we scheduled the shoot on the night of the final game, all of us hoping the team would take the championship cup. We know that didn't happen, but we stayed loyal fans anyway. We had a great time photographing their engagement pictures in Key Biscayne's Bill Baggs park, then closed out the session on a spectacular view of Miami's beautiful skyline.
This engagement session is also the lead-up to a bigger day. With the wedding set for the following month, these portraits are the first chapter of a longer story we can't wait to keep telling.

Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park sits at the southern tip of Key Biscayne, the barrier island just south of Miami across the Rickenbacker Causeway. As a Florida State Park, it offers a mix of Atlantic-facing beach, native coastal hammock, and the historic Cape Florida Lighthouse, which makes it a favorite backdrop for engagement and portrait sessions on the island.
One reason couples choose this stretch of Key Biscayne is the range of looks within a short drive: the natural, open feel of the state park and, on the way back toward the mainland, sweeping views of the downtown Miami skyline. We used both in this session, beginning at Bill Baggs and ending on that skyline view.
