Andrea and Lee, a Philadelphia couple together six years, traveled to the Florida Keys for a dreamy Key Largo Lighthouse wedding. A Philadelphia police officer and a Children's Hospital nurse, they married on a sunny spring day with a few playful rain showers that only made the celebration more memorable.
Andrea and Lee met at a party where she was dressed as Harley Quinn and Lee was the only one who recognized her costume. Six years later, this Philadelphia couple, he a police officer and she a nurse at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, came all the way to the Florida Keys for their Key Largo Lighthouse wedding.
It was a perfect Florida spring day, with just one twist: April flowers brought May showers. A sprinkle arrived right before the ceremony, then it poured right as the newlyweds made their grand entrance into the reception. Thank goodness for DJ Russ, who kept everyone huddled under his tent and cued up "It's Raining Men." Everyone danced, and by the time the song ended the skies cleared for an amazing night.
These two love music, video games, and sports, especially football, and they had the coolest Eagles wedding cake ever. Their dear friends Drew and Keturah even flew in to sing their first dance song live.
“It was such a fun crowd to work with, we really enjoyed Andrea and Lee's family and friends that made it one memorable Key Largo wedding”

View our photographyThe Key Largo Lighthouse is a waterfront wedding venue in Key Largo, the northernmost and largest island in the Florida Keys, at the top of the island chain in Monroe County, Florida. Key Largo sits along U.S. Highway 1 (the Overseas Highway) roughly an hour south of Miami, making it one of the most accessible Keys destinations for couples and out-of-town guests flying into Miami International Airport before driving down.
The wider Florida Keys offer warm, breezy spring and early-summer weather, though, as Andrea and Lee's day showed, a quick passing shower is always part of the tropical package. For couples planning a destination wedding here, local vendors are well practiced at outdoor ceremonies and waterfront receptions. As a studio that works across South Florida and New York City, Acromatico photographs weddings throughout the Keys and the Miami area.
