Veronica and James were married at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort, an oceanfront hotel on Fort Lauderdale Beach in Broward County, Florida. Acromatico, a family-run South Florida and New York studio, photographed their wedding after first shooting the couple's engagement session at Anglins Pier the prior year.
Acromatico had photographed Veronica and James once before, at their Fort Lauderdale engagement session at Anglins Pier the year prior, where the studio captured the couple behind the scenes. That weekend the two finally tied the knot at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort. With a Venezuelan crowd mixing with an American crowd, the celebration was pure fun.
The bride was prepared by makeup artist Gaby Ros Makeup and hairstylist Omar Sanz. A wedding video from the day is still to come.
“This is what happens when a Venezuelan crowd mixes with an American crowd - pure fun.”
Good to know
The Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort is an oceanfront hotel located directly on Fort Lauderdale Beach along North Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard (State Road A1A) in Fort Lauderdale, Broward County, Florida. Its beachfront setting on the Atlantic makes it a natural choice for couples who want ceremony and reception spaces steps from the sand, with ocean views as a backdrop.
The resort sits along the A1A beach corridor, a short drive from downtown Fort Lauderdale and roughly a half hour from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL). Anglins Pier, where Acromatico photographed Veronica and James's engagement session, is just up the coast in the Lauderdale-by-the-Sea area, making the stretch of A1A north of the resort a familiar setting for beachside portraits.
