Jennifer and Gregory celebrated their wedding at Whitney Farms Golf Club in Monroe, CT. After postponing during covid, they finally gathered their closest family and friends, traveled in from Florida, and turned the day into a joyful celebration of their marriage.
Jennifer and Gregory had their destination wedding at Whitney Farms Golf Club in Monroe, CT, and we actually met the very day of their wedding. About two weeks before, Jennifer texted to see if we were available. After postponing during covid like so many couples, they had officially married a year and a half earlier and were finally able to celebrate with their closest family and friends. When a last-minute emergency left them without their original photographer, we happened to be open.
Despite the stress of planning, hosting guests, and driving all the way from Florida, there was an extra detail in the mix: a baby on the way. It was an honor to photograph this mommy-to-be and gorgeous bride, capturing both her big day and these little moments before the baby arrived. Her main goal was simply having photos of the celebration, and everyone, from the wedding party to family and friends, was welcoming and made the day go smoothly.
A favorite part was photographing her in both of her gorgeous dresses. The night was topped off by a gender reveal for the guests featuring a special cupcake. Only one guest would know the color, at the very moment he bit into it, and the blue filling stole the show. It's a boy.
“They were an absolute dream to work with and made my job so easy.”
