Karina and Jeramy married at Villagio Resorts in Texas, with a first look photographed at the Fort Worth Botanical Garden, captured by Acromatico, a family-run South Florida and New York City photography studio. Their whole love story unfolded in a single day surrounded by family and friends.
Acromatico traveled to Texas for a quick weekend to photograph Karina and Jeramy's destination wedding at Villagio Resorts. Despite a hail warning the day before and rain and shifting weather, the couple's day came together beautifully. Their first look took place at the Fort Worth Botanical Garden, the same location where Karina's parents had married.
It was a celebration packed end to end, from late-night tacos and scooters to dancing inside and outside the car, all the way to a 1am taco run. Acromatico considered it an honor to photograph Karina and Jeramy's love story in one day, next to the family and friends who came to celebrate with them.
“Despite there being a hail warning the day before, crazy rain and bipolar weather, nothing could have made their big day more gorgeous and perfect.”
Good to know
Villagio Resorts sits in Texas, within reach of the city of Fort Worth, which makes it a workable base for couples who want a destination wedding without straying far from a major metro. Fort Worth anchors the western side of the Dallas-Fort Worth area in north-central Texas, and its mix of nearby gardens, hotels and dining gives a wedding weekend plenty to build around.
The Fort Worth Botanical Garden, where Karina and Jeramy shared their first look, is the oldest botanic garden in Texas, founded in 1934, and spans more than a hundred acres of themed gardens. For couples planning portraits in the area, it is a popular and scenic backdrop, though access often requires advance permission, so confirm photography arrangements with the garden before your date.
