The Vaz twins are two little girls Acromatico photographed in a children's portrait mini-session at Matheson Hammock Park in Coral Gables, Miami, Florida. The sisters won second place in one of our photo contests, and this session was their prize.
This wasn't one of our usual photo sessions. After running a photo contest, our family-run studio decided to get creative with the second-place winners, the Vaz twins, and treat them to a portrait mini-session. They were, in our words, two of the cutest little girls ever, and they made it easy on us, naturally popping a big "cheese" for the camera in every picture.
We loved working with them, and this post is the mini-session that came out of it. Congratulations again to the winners, and we hope you enjoy the photos as much as we enjoyed making them.

Good to know
Matheson Hammock Park is a historic county park in Coral Gables, just south of Miami, Florida, set along Biscayne Bay. It is one of Miami-Dade County's oldest parks and is known for its man-made atoll pool, palm-lined causeway, marina, and dense coastal hammock. The mix of open bayfront, shade, and tropical greenery makes it a long-standing favorite for family and children's portrait sessions.
The park sits along Old Cutler Road, a short drive from Coral Gables and the city of Miami, which makes it convenient for South Florida families. Acromatico is a family-run photography and brand studio founded in 2004, working across South Florida and New York City, so a relaxed local park session like this one with the Vaz twins is squarely in our world.
