Ruth and Joel are a Miami couple whose wedding was photographed by Acromatico, the family-run South Florida and New York City photography and brand studio founded in 2004. Acromatico had already met them earlier for their engagement session at Miami's South Pointe Park, and returned to document their wedding day.
Acromatico first photographed Ruth and Joel during their engagement session at South Pointe Park in Miami. When their wedding day arrived, the studio was glad to be back with the couple to document it, capturing the day with the dark fine-art "Brand Studio" approach Acromatico has carried since 2004.
The wedding fell during a stretch of busy season for the studio, alongside heavy editing and a one-year anniversary celebration in Las Vegas — and Ruth and Joel's day was one Acromatico was especially happy to return for after their earlier engagement shoot.
“You may remember Ruth and Joel on their fantastic engagement session at Miami's South Pointe park. We were very happy to see them again on their wedding day.”
Good to know
South Pointe Park sits at the southern tip of Miami Beach, where Government Cut meets the Atlantic Ocean. The public park marks the end of South Beach and looks out over the channel that cruise ships and cargo vessels use to enter and leave the Port of Miami, making it a recognizable spot for couples who want open water, the channel jetty, and the Miami Beach skyline in frame.
Because South Pointe Park is a city park at the edge of Miami Beach, it pairs naturally with engagement sessions and wedding portraits across greater Miami. Acromatico works across South Florida and New York City, so couples like Ruth and Joel can be photographed from an early engagement session through their wedding day with the same studio.
