Bertha, a talented musician, sat for a portrait session in Pembroke Pines, Florida, photographed by Acromatico, a family-run photography and brand studio working across South Florida and New York City. This post shares a few of our favorite frames from the day.
We love working with artistic people, and Bertha, a very talented musician, was exactly that kind of subject. Her portrait session took place in Pembroke Pines, Florida, and the images here are a few of our favorites from the day.
Acromatico is a family-run photography and brand studio founded in 2004, working across South Florida and New York City with a dark, fine-art "Brand Studio" aesthetic. Sessions like Bertha's are why we keep doing this work: musicians and other artists bring a presence to a portrait that we get to translate into images they can use and keep.
“We love working with artistic people and this will be the case of Bertha, a very talented musician.”
Good to know
Pembroke Pines is a city in southern Broward County, in the South Florida metro between Miami and Fort Lauderdale. It is one of Broward County's largest cities by population and sits inland from the coast, bordered by communities such as Miramar, Cooper City and Davie, with quick access to I-75 and the Florida Turnpike.
For a portrait session, that central Broward location is part of the appeal: it is reachable from across the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area, with a mix of suburban parks, residential streets and open green space that suit a range of looks. As a family-run studio working throughout South Florida and New York City, Acromatico travels to where a session makes sense for the person in front of the camera, whether that is Pembroke Pines or elsewhere in the region.
