Monica and Camilo returned for a day-after wedding session in Deerfield Beach, Florida, the morning after their December 2013 wedding. Monica was excited to wear her gown one last time, this time right in the salty Atlantic water. Acromatico, a family-run South Florida and New York City studio, photographed the session.
The day after Monica and Camilo's wedding, Acromatico photographed a day-after session for them in Deerfield Beach. Monica was extremely excited to wear her gorgeous gown one last time, except this time right in the salty waters of Deerfield Beach.
It was a fun morning, and the studio enjoyed working one last time with the couple, who Acromatico affectionately called "love birds." The studio shared a wish to work with Monica and Camilo again and offered them congratulations on their wedding.
“It was so much fun, we really enjoyed working one last time with these love birds, but then again, there never is a "last time".”
Good to know
Deerfield Beach sits in Broward County on Florida's southeast Atlantic coast, just south of the Palm Beach County line and north of Pompano Beach. Its wide public beach and Atlantic shoreline make it a natural setting for a day-after or "trash the dress" session, where a couple can step into the salt water in their wedding attire the way Monica and Camilo did.
The town is known for the Deerfield Beach International Fishing Pier and its Blue Wave–certified beach. For couples planning a coastal South Florida session, the early-morning light along this stretch of the Atlantic is softest just after sunrise, before the public beach fills in.
Acromatico is a family-run photography and brand studio founded in 2004, working across South Florida and New York City with a dark, fine-art "Brand Studio" aesthetic. The studio photographs weddings and day-after sessions throughout Broward County and the wider South Florida coast.
