Melissa and Spencer married in Boca Raton, Florida, with their wedding tied to The Addison and their getting-ready morning and first look at the Boca Beach Club. Acromatico, a family-run South Florida and New York City photography studio since 2004, photographed the celebration.
Melissa and Spencer, affectionately nicknamed "The Wades," began their Boca Raton wedding day at the Boca Beach Club, where Melissa and her bridesmaids got ready. A very special guest came along: Little Dolce, Melissa's puppy, dressed in his own tux like a tiny groom. The first look also happened at the Boca Beach Club. Melissa wasn't sure she wanted to do it, so she teased Spencer and made him wait a little longer.
When the moment finally came, Spencer walked blindfolded toward his bride-to-be as the whole crowd awed. Nothing could stop this groom from seeing Melissa for the first time. Everything turned out beautifully, and their wedding, photographed by Acromatico, was a blast.
“Spencer walked blindfolded toward his beautiful bride-to-be, as the whole crowd awed at them.”
Good to know
Boca Raton sits in southern Palm Beach County, Florida, along the Atlantic coast between Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. The city is known for its Mediterranean Revival architecture, much of it tracing back to 1920s architect Addison Mizner, whose influence is felt throughout the downtown and historic districts. The Boca Beach Club is an oceanfront resort property that makes getting-ready suites and first-look moments easy to keep close to the water.
The Addison, named for Mizner himself, is a landmark events venue in downtown Boca Raton set in a historic building with courtyards, banyan trees, and Spanish-style architecture. For couples searching for a Boca Raton wedding photographer, both locations reward a photographer who knows the area's light and layout. Acromatico has worked across South Florida since 2004, and our dark fine-art "Brand Studio" approach is built to handle the indoor-outdoor mix these venues offer.
