Acromatico photographed the Cardiello family's yearly portrait session at Matheson Hammock Park in Coral Gables, Miami, Florida. The growing family returned for their annual portraits, this time with the kids and their newest walker, little Luca, at the Miami-Dade County park.
The Cardiello family keeps growing, and Acromatico was happy to capture them again for their yearly family portraits, this time at Matheson Hammock Park. It was a fun session photographing dear friends and watching the kids be kids, with little Luca already walking. There is nothing like siblings, and it is amazing how quickly kids get so big.
As a family-run photography and brand studio working across South Florida and New York City since 2004, Acromatico brings a dark fine-art Brand Studio aesthetic to these annual sessions, creating memories with families who return year after year.
“It's amazing how kids can get so big in the blink of an eye. Little Luca is already walking!”
Good to know
Matheson Hammock Park is a historic county park in Coral Gables, within Miami-Dade County, Florida, on the shore of Biscayne Bay. Established in the 1930s, it is one of Miami-Dade's oldest parks and is known for its man-made atoll pool, mangrove hammocks, and views across the bay, making it a popular setting for family portraits, engagement sessions, and outdoor photography.
The park's mix of open coastline, palm-lined paths, and shaded hammock greenery gives a portrait session natural variety in a single location, which is helpful for families with young kids who move quickly. It sits just south of downtown Coral Gables off Old Cutler Road, close to the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden and the broader South Miami area.
