Kindlee and Donald are expecting a baby girl, and they marked the occasion with a maternity session at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden in Coral Gables, Florida. The session was personal for Acromatico: Donald is one of founder Italo's high school friends, who reconnected after many years for the shoot.
This maternity session was a little different from the ones Acromatico had done before, because it was Italo's own high school buddy who reached out after many years for the occasion. Kindlee and Donald, who met through Match.com and turned out to be the perfect match, are expecting a baby girl, a detail nodded to with the hot pink in the session. They have been inseparable since meeting and were extremely happy for their new arrival.
Acromatico photographed the couple at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, sharing a set of favorites from the session. The studio offered congratulations again to the couple on their baby girl.
“They met through Match.com and they sure were the perfect match.”
Good to know
Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden is an 83-acre tropical botanical garden in the Coral Gables area of Miami-Dade County, Florida, just south of Miami proper near Coconut Grove. Founded in 1938 and named for plant explorer David Fairchild, it is one of the premier tropical gardens in the continental United States, known for its palms, cycads, flowering trees, and a series of lakes and lawns that make it a longtime favorite for maternity, engagement, and family portrait sessions.
The garden's variety of landscapes, from open allées and grassy vistas to shaded tropical plantings, gives couples a range of backdrops within a single location. It sits along Old Cutler Road, a short drive from Coral Gables and Coconut Grove, and is open to the public as a paid-admission attraction; portrait sessions are subject to the garden's own photography policies, so confirming access and any permit requirements with Fairchild directly before booking is worthwhile.
