Stephanie and Alex married in Key Largo, Florida, on April 17, 2018, and Acromatico photographed their relaxed Florida Keys wedding day. Acromatico is a family-run photography and brand studio working across South Florida and New York City since 2004, with a dark fine-art aesthetic.
Stephanie and Alex were married in Key Largo, Florida, on April 17, 2018, and Acromatico was there to photograph their day. We love a Key Largo wedding, and this one was stunning, fun and relaxed from start to finish. The couple made it easy for us to capture their connection.
The day held so many amazing moments that choosing favorites was genuinely tough. The gallery below collects some of the images we kept coming back to from this beautiful day in the Florida Keys.
“Did we mention how much we LOVE a Key Largo Wedding? They are absolutely stunning, fun and relaxed.”
Good to know
Key Largo is the northernmost and largest island of the Florida Keys, reached from the mainland via U.S. Highway 1 (the Overseas Highway) in Monroe County. Often called the "Dive Capital of the World," it sits at the edge of the only living coral barrier reef in the continental United States, which makes its waterfront and resort settings a natural fit for relaxed island weddings.
The island is home to John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, the first undersea park in the United States, along with stretches of bayside and oceanside resorts that face calm, shallow water. For couples searching for a Key Largo wedding photographer, the draw is the same one we saw with Stephanie and Alex: a setting that lets a celebration stay easy, sun-lit and unhurried.
Acromatico travels throughout South Florida and the Keys, as well as New York City, as a family-run studio. We have photographed weddings since 2004 and bring a dark fine-art "Brand Studio" approach to documenting a wedding day.
