The day began gloomy, and it genuinely seemed the rain would take over Jessica and Carlos's wedding at the Long Key Nature Center in Davie, Florida. South Florida weather is never something you can trust, but these two missed Hurricane Irma by a week, and sunshine eventually won out. By the time the outdoor shots came around, the team was sweating through the heat, yet the bride and groom looked flawless regardless.
Acromatico loved the energy at this wedding and the family and friends who made it a delight to work with. The bride's hair and makeup came from the ladies at Bombshell Makeover, and Brenda and the team at Posh Weddings & Events handled the coordination, a vendor Acromatico was glad to work with once again.

Long Key Natural Area and Nature Center sits in Davie, a town in western Broward County, South Florida. It is a public nature preserve protecting a remnant tropical hardwood hammock and wetland habitat, which gives couples a green, tree-shaded backdrop only a short drive from Fort Lauderdale. Its outdoor setting is well suited to ceremonies and portraits, though, as Jessica and Carlos learned, South Florida weather can swing from clouds to sun within the same afternoon.
