Janicel + Matias · Trash-the-Dress | North Miami Beach, FL

Janicel and Matias are newlyweds who did a trash-the-dress after-wedding session in North Miami Beach, Florida, photographed by Acromatico, a family-run photography and brand studio. The husband-and-wife team — to whom Janicel is the photographers’ new sister-in-law — shot the couple on the sand, in the mud and in the water.

This was a trash-the-dress session the Acromatico team had been waiting to do — and they finally got someone to do it: newlyweds Janicel and Matias — Janicel being the photographers’ new sister-in-law. The session took place in the North Miami Beach area of South Florida, with the couple on the sand, in the mud and in the water.

True to a studio that loves to get dirty for a shot, things got wet in more ways than one: the photographer's husband stepped into the water with his brand-new iPhone 4 — the second time in two months he'd done something like it, after Khadine and Dwayne's engagement session. This time everything turned out okay, and the camera stayed dry. Much love and happiness to Janicel and Matias on their marriage.

“As most of you know by now, we love to get dirty — on the sand, in the mud, in the water.”
