Acromatico photographed the Visbal family's annual portrait session at Hugh Taylor Birch State Park in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in November 2021. After two rain reschedules and a third rainy raincheck date, the family chanced it — and the clouds cleared just in time to capture their growing family.

This was the Visbal family's yearly photo session, booked and set well ahead of time so nothing would get in the way of their 2021 portraits — nothing, that is, except the rain, which always seems to. Their Hugh Taylor Birch State Park session had to be rescheduled twice, and even the rescheduled raincheck date ended up raining too. The family decided to chance it anyway, and when Acromatico arrived at the park the clouds were nice and clear, letting us capture their memories.

What makes this place especially meaningful is that the last time we photographed the Visbals here, little Olivia was still on the way. Seeing our clients year to year and watching their little families grow is part of why this work matters.
