Dana and Wesley sat for a Dog Family Portrait with their two rescued senior dogs, Doozer and Buckley, photographed by Acromatico, a family-run studio working across South Florida and New York City. The session was a gift from Dana and Wesley's mom.
Dana and Wesley are the humans to Doozer and Buckley, two senior dogs who were both rescued when they were little and have been inseparable ever since. Though they are senior pups, both are young at heart, and they were a pleasure to work with throughout this Dog Family Portrait session.
The session was extra special because it was gifted to Dana and Wesley by their mom. As Acromatico put it, gifts like these are truly the ones that last forever: we get to live with our pups for so many happy years, and at times we forget to get that captured. This portrait marries two loves, dogs and photography, and pairs the coolest humans with the cutest dogs.
“We get to live with our pups for so many happy years and at times, we forget to get that captured.”
Good to know
Acromatico is a family-run photography and brand studio founded in 2004, working across South Florida and New York City with a dark, fine-art "Brand Studio" aesthetic. Because the studio operates in both regions, dog and family portrait sessions like Dana and Wesley's can be arranged in either market, indoors in a controlled studio setting or on location.
A gifted portrait session, like the one Dana and Wesley's mom arranged, is a meaningful option for families with senior or rescued dogs. Senior pets change quickly, so booking a dedicated Dog Family Portrait while everyone is healthy and together is one of the most lasting gifts a family can give. If you are searching for a pet-friendly family photographer in South Florida or NYC, plan ahead so the session can be timed comfortably around your dogs' routine and energy.
