Coral Gables Entrance Park, also known as the El Prado Entrance, is one of our favorite South Florida spots for portraits. It delivers a European vibe with its pergola, blooming Bugambilia, water pond and lush gardens, and it is free of charge unlike many Florida photo spots.
For this session we went to one of our favorite spots in South Florida that screams “Europe.” No, it’s not Vizcaya — we’re talking about Coral Gables Entrance Park, also known as the “El Prado Entrance.” Every time we get to work with friends we have such a blast! Meet the Morales Family. After many years of marriage, Noemi and Misa decided to celebrate this photographic anniversary in a very special way by dressing up again as Mr. and Mrs. — but now with one extra addition to the family, their beautiful daughter.
This place, even though it’s small and always crowded, you can always count on getting good photos. It looks so different throughout the year with all the flowers blooming and greenery all around. As you enter the park, you’re instantly surrounded by beautiful gardens and lush vegetation. The gorgeous Bugambilia flowers, European-style pergola, and bright blue skies make the portraits artistic and come to life. We also love the water pond and the reflection it makes in the photos, with the serenity vibes it gives.
Best part is that it’s free of charge unlike many photography spots in Florida, so if you’re looking for that European vibe, this place can definitely deliver. There’s something for everyone to enjoy, and you’re sure to create lasting memories.

Good to know
Whether it’s an anniversary, a growing family, or simply a reason to dress up and remember this season of life, we’d love to capture it for you in this European-style corner of South Florida. Let’s create photos you’ll treasure for years.
View our photographyCoral Gables Entrance Park, also called the El Prado Entrance, sits in the City of Coral Gables in Miami-Dade County, Florida. It is one of the historic ornamental entrances built into the original planned design of Coral Gables, and it is a popular spot for visitors and photographers thanks to its gardens, pergola, and Mediterranean-style architecture.
For couples and families searching for a Coral Gables portrait location, two practical notes from our session stand out: the park is free of charge, unlike many photography spots in Florida, and it delivers a distinctly European vibe in a compact footprint. Because the space is small and frequently busy, an earlier arrival and a photographer who knows the angles help you make the most of the gardens, the pergola, and the reflective water pond.
