Where do you even begin when you get to shoot your favorite people at Robbins Park for their family session?
First of all, I’m extremely proud to call you my family: brother, sister and coolest nephews in the world. Ale and Italo, you’ve taught me everything I know and I owe it all to the two of you. You’ve gifted me my career and I’m happy to be able to gift you these memories that I know you’ll be able to remember forever.
There’s so much to say but I’ll stick to talking about the family session. As you might already know, anything you carefully plan doesn’t always turn out the way you want it. Pinterest cakes, the perfect beach day, your wedding, you get the point. Naturally, this session was not planned. We picked out this random Monday afternoon (2 days before), Ale picked out the outfits and we barely knew where we would go to the actual photoshoot location.
I’ve known Ale since I was 13 and she’s always been a wild one. Barefoot, crazy, gorgeous hair, organic queen, natural hippie. Italo is probably the complete opposite, or he likes to pretend he is at least LOL. You can only imagine what great mix Matteo and Lorenzo are. Can’t really explain them but I know these photos will say everything you do need to know and feel about them. My two favorite photographers, couple, little family, all in one gallery. Between Italo’s ugly laughs, Ale running around barefoot, Matteo in his habitat and Lorenzo doing his thing, we had so much fun.
If there’s one thing I’ve definitely learned during covid is take these moments in. Be simple. Stay simple. Enjoy the simple things.
I miss you guys insanely, love you to the moon and back. Thank you for letting me make memories with you and capture them. Hope you enjoy:
