Miami Beach is a barrier-island city in Miami-Dade County, Florida, separated from the city of Miami by Biscayne Bay and connected to the mainland by a series of causeways. Its Atlantic-facing eastern edge is a long, continuous public beach, while the western side meets the bay — which gives couples two very different light directions in one compact location. The famous Art Deco Historic District along Ocean Drive and Collins Avenue adds pastel architecture and clean lines that pair well with open-sky portraits.
