Acromatico — a family-run photography and brand studio working across South Florida and New York City — made a short trip to New York City and photographed the Brooklyn Bridge and the city at night. This post shares some of the studio's favorite frames from that quick visit.
New York, New York — the city that never sleeps. For Acromatico, this was a short and sweet trip packed with fun, and the studio came away with some pretty cool night pictures of New York City and the Brooklyn Bridge.
One frame meant enough that the studio printed the last image, and it looks so cool in print. Collected here are a few of Acromatico's favorites from the visit.
“We printed the last image and it looks so cool!!”
Good to know
The Brooklyn Bridge spans the East River in New York City, connecting the boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn. It is one of the oldest roadway bridges in the United States and a National Historic Landmark, and its pedestrian promenade is among the most photographed vantage points in the city — taking in the Lower Manhattan skyline, the river, and the bridge's signature stone towers and steel cables.
For night photography, the bridge and the surrounding waterfront — including the DUMBO neighborhood in Brooklyn and the Manhattan side near the Financial District — offer long-exposure opportunities as the skyline lights come up. Acromatico works across both South Florida and New York City, so trips like this one feed the studio's dark, fine-art "Brand Studio" aesthetic.
