Acromatico photographed the Linares family for a portrait session in the backyard of the home they recently built from the ground up. The session was led by our family-run South Florida and New York City studio, which has shot fine-art portraits since 2004. We had known Dinorah Linares for a while before working with her whole family.
We have known Dinorah for a while, and it is always a pleasure to work with her. For this session we got to work with her entire family, and they are all lovely. They recently decided to build their own home from the ground up, and it came out beautiful.
We photographed the Linares family portrait session right in their own backyard, surrounded by the home they had just built. These are some of our favorites from the day.

Good to know
Acromatico is a family-run photography and brand studio founded in 2004, working across South Florida and New York City with a dark, fine-art "Brand Studio" aesthetic. The Linares session is an example of an at-home portrait shoot: rather than a public park or studio backdrop, the family chose their own newly built backyard as the setting, keeping the photographs personal to the space they created.
Backyard and at-home portraits work well for families who want their environment to be part of the story. A private yard gives flexible timing, room for kids and extended family, and a setting that already feels like home, which is often why families who have just finished building or renovating choose to photograph there.
