Jennifer and Miguel were married in Key Largo, in the Florida Keys, on December 31, 2014 — and their celebration was the very last wedding Acromatico photographed that year. This New Year's Eve gallery, captured by our family-run South Florida and New York City studio, shares our favorite frames from their day.
Acromatico photographed Jennifer and Miguel's Key Largo wedding on December 31, 2014 — a sweet New Year's Eve celebration that closed out our year. It was our last wedding of 2014, captured literally on the last day of the year, and everything came out perfect for this couple.
We love everything about Key Largo weddings, and this one was especially meaningful as the final celebration on our 2014 calendar. Narrowing the gallery down to only our favorite photos was genuinely hard, but the frames we kept are gathered here for you to enjoy.

Good to know
Key Largo is the first and northernmost island of the Florida Keys, in Monroe County, reached from the mainland via U.S. Highway 1 (the Overseas Highway). As the closest Key to Miami and the South Florida mainland, it is often the first stop for couples heading down into the island chain, which makes it a convenient gathering point for guests traveling from the Miami area.
The island is widely known as the "Diving Capital of the World" and sits beside John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, the first undersea park in the United States, so waterfront and oceanside settings define much of the area. Its position at the top of the Keys means warm winter weather, which is part of why a late-December, New Year's Eve wedding like Jennifer and Miguel's works so well here.
Because Key Largo light is bright and coastal, couples planning here should think early about ceremony timing relative to sunset and about indoor or shaded options. Acromatico is a family-run photography and brand studio founded in 2004, working across South Florida and New York City, so the drive down U.S. 1 into the Keys is familiar territory for us.
