Janel and Esteban returned for an after-wedding session at Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park in Key Biscayne, Florida, a year after their wedding. It was Acromatico's first shoot at the park, set against ocean views, a sunset, and the beach lighthouse.
A year after their wedding, Janel and Esteban came back in front of the camera for an after-wedding session — and it was the first time Acromatico photographed at Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park in Key Biscayne. The setting did its part: spectacular ocean views, an amazing sunset, and the beautiful lighthouse set right at the beach.
But the real story wasn't the scenery. These two are simply photogenic, and the connection they shared with each other made the whole session an easy, genuinely fun experience. The only regret was running out of time — we wish we'd had more of it to keep shooting.

Good to know
Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park sits at the southern tip of Key Biscayne, a barrier island just south of Miami across the Rickenbacker Causeway. The Florida state park is best known for the historic Cape Florida Lighthouse — the oldest standing structure in Miami-Dade County — along with its beaches and open views of the Atlantic Ocean and Biscayne Bay.
For an after-wedding or couples session, the park offers a rare mix in one location: ocean and beach backdrops, a sunset over the water, and the lighthouse as an iconic landmark. Because it's a state park on a barrier island at the end of Key Biscayne, it carries the calm, away-from-the-city feel that made Janel and Esteban's session relaxed and unhurried — the kind of place where the only complaint is not having more time.
