Heidy and David married on August 8, 2022, with their reception at Doral Park Country Club in Doral, Florida. Acromatico — a family-run photography studio working across South Florida and New York City — covered the day: a fast getting-ready, a Kingdom Hall ceremony, and golf-course and lake views at the club.
Heidy is someone close to the Acromatico team — the sweetest person in the room, funny and always giving — so when she called to share her wedding plans, we were honored to be part of her day with David. The morning began with quick getting-ready coverage: just 20 minutes for both bride and groom, who were preparing at the same location. From there, the day moved to a Kingdom Hall for the ceremony and a beautiful talk.
The celebration then headed to the couple's chosen venue, Doral Park Country Club, where we took in the golf course and lake views. Inside the reception room, every detail was tastefully done — from the decor to the cake, everything was simply elegant and beautiful. We highly recommend this venue for any event.
“Every little detail inside the room was tastefully done to perfection, from the decor to the cake, everything was simply elegant and beautiful.”
Good to know
Doral Park Country Club sits in the city of Doral, in northwest Miami-Dade County, just west of Miami International Airport. The setting is built around a golf course and lake, which give wedding parties open green fairways and water for outdoor portraits — the same gorgeous views Heidy and David enjoyed on their day.
Doral is a compact, easily reached city bordered by Medley, Fontainebleau, and Sweetwater, with quick access from the Palmetto Expressway (SR 826) and the Dolphin Expressway (SR 836). For couples comparing reception venues in the area, the club's combination of an indoor reception room and golf-course-and-lake backdrop makes it flexible for both ceremony-and-reception days and reception-only events that begin elsewhere, as this one did at a Kingdom Hall.
