April and her two daughters, Chloe and Scarlett, were photographed by Acromatico during a summer family session at Parco Sempione, the large public park beside Sforza Castle in central Milan, Italy. We found a leafy spot full of greenery and blooming hydrangeas for this mother-and-daughters session.
This family session was photographed at the beautiful Parco Sempione in Milan, Italy. Even though there isn't too much green in Milan, we found a cool spot with lots of greenery and even beautiful hydrangeas — one of our favorites. Summertime is a little hot and sticky in this city, but these girls pulled it together and made all of the photos seem effortless. Despite the heat and the serial-killer mosquitoes, we survived.
It was such a pleasure shooting this beautiful mommy, April, and her two daughters, Chloe and Scarlett. These are moments to always remember, especially because you're only a teen and a toddler once in your life.

Good to know
Parco Sempione is a large public park in the historic center of Milan, Italy, laid out in the late 19th century in the English landscape style. It sits directly behind the Sforza Castle (Castello Sforzesco) and stretches toward the neoclassical Arch of Peace (Arco della Pace), making it one of the most recognizable green spaces in the city. Its lawns, tree-lined paths, and planted beds are why it's a natural choice for family portraits in a city otherwise dominated by stone, traffic, and architecture.
For families considering a portrait session here, summer brings lush greenery and flowering plants like the hydrangeas found during this shoot, but Milan's July and August heat can be intense, so early-morning or late-afternoon light is the most comfortable. The park is centrally located near the Cadorna and Lanza transit stops, walkable from the castle and the Brera district, which makes it easy to fold a session into a Milan visit.
