Jennifer and Gregory had their destination wedding at the Whitney Farms Gold Club in Monroe, CT. We met the very day of their wedding! Here’s how:
Just about two weeks prior to their wedding, I received a text message from Jennifer to see if we were available for their big day. After having to postpone their wedding during covid like many couples, they officially got married a year and a half ago and finally were able to celebrate their marriage with their closest family and friends. As you know, no wedding comes without a hiccup. There was a last minute emergency with their previous photographer and we happened to be available. Despite the stress of not only having to plan your celebration, guests, take a drive all the way from Florida…add a little baby Jack in the mix too!
That’s right! I had the HONOR of photographing this mommy to be and gorgeous bride. Not only did I get to capture her in this very special and unique day, I got to freeze these little moments before the baby arrives.
Their wedding was beautiful and this bride’s main goal was getting photos captured of her big day. Everyone was absolutely welcoming and immediately made me feel at home. The wedding party, family and friends were all here to ensure everything went smoothly and perfectly for Jennifer and Greg. They were an absolute d r e a m to work with and made my job so easy!
My favorite part about this day was obviously being able to take photos of them and getting this beautiful bride in both of her gorgeous dresses. What really topped this off for me was the fact that they did a gender reveal for the guests featuring a special cupcake. Only one guest would know the color just at the very moment he bit into it…when he realized it, he couldn’t believe it, the blue filling in that cupcake stole the show of the night. That’s right people, it’s a boy!
