Terrace On The Park Indian Wedding, NY – Tintu + Nemo

This wedding I have to say was very special. Not only did we get to work with one of the happiest grooms we’ve ever met but we also felt like we became a part of Tintu and Nirmal’s (aka Nemo’s) family.

We had the pleasure of shooting their engagement session earlier this spring, with the most prettiest cherry blossom season right here in New York. What does this have to do with their wedding day? It actually rained on both days! By rain, I mean, it poured on their wedding day.

Despite the rain and being still in the middle of a pandemic, nothing could stop this hard working nurse and civil engineer from enjoying the best day of their lives together. We’ve never met a couple that can smile through it all while also making you feel like you’ve been a part of their family and friends all your life. There are clients you meet in life that you just know you’ll always remember the memories forever. Clients that become family.

Usually we like to talk about the couple’s wedding day (but we will let the pictures do the talking). This time, I want you to know how I felt. I got to work with the most amazing team ever thanks to Amee and her team at Karma Events. They made sure the wedding process went smoothly (and it did!). Everything was absolutely flawless. It was as if a bunch of friends got together while the rest of us ensured we did our end. A big collab. From the DJ to the sparklers, the baristas to the decor, the photobooth to the music, the MC. The smoke to the amazing energy on the floor. Everything. It all came alive. I got to live it and feel it. All the love you could feel right in one room. All the emotions, the colors, the vibrancy, the LIFE. Life that almost felt extinct. It came back right this night seeing everyone come to life. Dances. Smiles. Music. Nothing really mattered, just the moment. Living this night was everything.
