Kate and Steve’s Hudson Valley barn engagement wasn’t just pretty pictures — it was their family’s barn, the exact spot where they’ll say “I do” this November. That already makes it personal, but then you add a golden hour that hit just right, a little haze of farm dust floating in the light, and even their new puppy and lots of puppy kisses, and suddenly the whole place felt alive. This summer’s been cooler than the usual New York heatwave, so we had the perfect evening to wander between fields, getting cozy inside the barn, and just let them be themselves and capture the moments. It was rustic, real, and totally them — the kind of session that reminds me why the Hudson Valley is the best backdrop for love stories. So excited for the wedding!
