S’Cool is a live instructional program a Florida scholarship family can fund with Step Up. Tell us who your child is and this page builds two things on the spot — the provider invoice, and the exact course description to paste into your EMA submission.
Acromatico is an independent studio. We are not affiliated with, and do not speak for, Step Up for Students or the Florida Department of Education. Approval is always their decision.
How it works
This is the path families actually walk in the EMA portal. Nothing here is a promise of approval — it is the paperwork done properly so the reviewer has no reason to send it back.
Only expenses dated inside your current funded award year count. The 26–27 year runs July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. A perfect receipt from the year before is dead once that deadline passes — check the date before you file anything.
Use the builder below. You get a provider invoice emailed as a PDF, plus the course description, the short field text and the line items — all written for your child by name.
Log in at apply.stepupforstudents.org, start the submission for that student, pick the matching elective description, upload the invoice and paste the text. Then read every line the scanner filled in.
After payment we send a paid receipt. At the end of every term you get a course record — a one-page paper of content, hours and the term project for your home-education folder. It is a course record, not a diploma and not college credit.
In the portal
S’Cool is a class, not a supply — so it files as an elective course, not as instructional material. Menu wording changes from time to time, so match whichever of these your list actually shows rather than hunting for an exact string:
Filing for two children? Send the builder once per child so each submission carries that child's own name, age and course description. Never claim one charge in full on both students — that is double-claiming a single expense, and it is a clawback risk. Split a genuinely shared cost, or invoice each child separately. We are happy to issue two separate invoices: [email protected].
What you are funding
Scholarship families most often use FES-EO (Family Empowerment Scholarship for Educational Options) or PEP (Personalized Education Program) funds for instructional programs like this one. Which category applies, and whether it is approved, is decided by Step Up — not by us. We give you clean paperwork either way.

Paste this into the course or program description field on the submission — the long one. It names your child, the ages served, the schedule, the contact hours and what the term actually teaches.

If the reviewer asks why this expense is educational, or there is a justification box, this is the answer — in your child’s terms, tied to the records you will be able to produce.
What the invoice totals. Check these against whatever the portal’s scanner fills in, and delete any $0.00 lines it adds.
Questions
We cannot promise that, and you should be careful with anyone who does. S’Cool is a live instructional program with real attendance and real records, which is the category families normally fund. The approval decision belongs to Step Up.
Both paths happen. Some families get the expense approved and funded first; others pay by card and file for reimbursement. The invoice works for either, and we issue a paid receipt once tuition is paid.
Once an award year’s deadline passes, expenses dated inside it are closed out no matter how good the receipt is. The 26–27 year runs July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. If your dates fall outside your current funded year, ask us for an invoice dated to the months you are actually enrolling.
The scanner reads the uploaded PDF and frequently picks up a list price while ignoring a discount, or splits a package total across lines and leaves $0.00 rows behind. Compare every line against the invoice, correct the amount and delete the empty rows before you submit.
A pro forma invoice now, a paid receipt after payment, and a course record at the end of each term listing the content, the contact hours and the term project. That is what a portfolio review usually asks for. It is a course record from Acromatico S’Cool — not a school diploma and not college credit.
You pay the difference by card. Your founding rate is locked for as long as your child stays enrolled, so the monthly figure does not move under you.
