This next DESTINation wedding was everything! We flew out to Destin, FL to shoot Dawn and Terry’s big day and were so happy to finally be able to meet them!
First of all, if you haven’t been to Destin yet, what are you waiting for? With a little bit of Mexico, Naples and Key West, Destin has the best of all worlds combined. From awesome food trucks to gorgeous Greek-like towns. Travelers from all over the US fly to Destin to enjoy the party scene but also the gorgeous crystal clear white sand beaches.
You’re probably wondering: is Destin THEE place to elope or hold a destination wedding at? YES!
On to this amazing destination wedding we just shot: it was a Star Wars themed wedding! Such a fun way to personalize things. All the guests had their own light savers thanks to this groom that is a total Star Wars fan and his very supportive bride. Meeting Dawn and Terry and getting to know them in this short period, we could quickly get to see their personalities and couple dynamics. Terry clearly knows how to make Dawn laugh and is a huge joker. It was so beautiful to be able to capture their big day in just 4 hours.
Despite the sunset escaping us on the beach, this “lit” ceremony was so fun and simple with just family and intimate friends. This is the way (Star War pun intended) to get married!
