They met during college almost 10 years ago, it was not love at first sight (for her) and he quickly got friend zoned. Of course, that all changed! This is the story of Tintu and Nemo.
Before we scroll down to the pictures we took in Central Park for this Indian Engagement session, I have to tell you a little bit about this sesh.
Tintu and Nemo contacted us during their quarantine and we scheduled the “perfect” spring day in April. They haven’t had the easiest year, after all, having to move their wedding plans from India to here is quite a challenge, especially during the middle of a pandemic. Ok, so spring time in the city that doesn’t sleep: birds chirping, sweet flowers perfuming the air, dogs walking their owners, talented violinists play for a buck, runners taking over the sidewalks, spring is in the a i r…or so you think!
Ok so exactly just that was happening but as soon as my shutter made its first click.. little raindrops came down…Welp. Do we reschedule, do we stop, do we keep going? Milliseconds to make a decision and the one thing I knew is we were shooting in Central Park rain or shine! So we did!
Played around with mega bubbles (who doesn’t love bubbles??). Hid under the Bethesda Terrace along with everyone else that was stuck in Central Park with the rain. While they stayed dried, I shot! Surprisingly it did stop raining, the people in the park went back to line dancing out in the open, dogs were back on their leashes, children back on their skates and we were back at shooting.
The best part was (at the right perfect time) a tiny bit of sun ray came out of nowhere to give me a natural spotlight. Can’t complain. We had a blast shooting Tintu and Nemo at Central Park for their Indian Engagement Session. Absolutely can’t wait for the wedding next month! In the meantime, here are some of my faves from yesterday:
